Vocalized self-reinforcement is a powerful tool, as is reflecting on how to action it. By leveraging the power of positive thought you can reprogram your brain for success.

“I am paving the way to a successful career by focusing in on a clear picture of where I am going and how I plan to get there.

Sure, I know that plans change along the way and that growing and developing my true self may include a shift in current goals. But, I am open to this and have let go of the notion that I need to have my entire life planned out in stone.

I have taken the time to acknowledge my interests and skills. I make efforts to consult with those wiser than myself who may offer feedback on what I am naturally equipped for, my strengths and opportunities.

I have laid out plans for what I hope to achieve in life and how I plan to get there.

I invest in developing my skills and obtaining the resources that I need to be successful.

I let go of the idea that having a good life is something that just happens. No, I’ve got to work for this and in doing so I’ll earn it. But I acknowledge it requires conscious thought and planning. Anything less wastes time and energy and leaves me wandering in circles.

Because I have allowed myself the time to prepare and am equipping myself with the skills and resources I need to achieve my goals, I can move forward confidently and stress-free.
